Neither Jim nor I perished in Fruita this past weekend - but parts of us did.
He had the presence of mind to bring (and use) the Surly Super Camera to snap some very nice gradutation portrait-quality photos of our bicycle exploits. I, on the other hand, being barely able to remember where I'm supposed to be at any moment, took the following two shots with the camera phone:
This first one represents, if I am not mistaken, a ride home in the wee hours through fist sized clumps of snow falling at alarming rates.
This next one is an obligatory shot from a trailside pause brought to you by the Pabst Brewing Company, Loud Yellow Jackets for Peace, thehellisthattomyleft.com, and Shrubs that Kill - a documentary on the predatory plants of the western slope of Colorado.
