Most things are easiest to explain in pictures but there are times when it’s not convenient to take pictures, and SSUSA was definitely one of those times for us here at Surly.

Some journeys are more challenging than others, and most have several solutions:

Here’s a cheat sheet to our SSUSA success:

  1. Show up
  2. Embrace chaos
  3. Help those who haven’t embraced chaos yet do so
  4. Distance yourself from those poor souls hindered by sobriety
  5. Celebrate Victory

The rest is up to you.  Salt to taste.  There might be puddles, fireworks, caves, cheese curds, vistas, plumes of smoke, magical coolers of beer, lumpy downhills, jumps, or any number of unknown variables, but if you follow those 5 steps you’ll get through.  Pinky swear.
