Bikes. Parts. Chaos.

Sad news hit us yesterday when we heard about the death of Andy Paradowski of Hayes Disc Brakes.

This is an actual childhood photo of Andy, and I can honestly say after hanging out and getting to know him when I was the Hayes buyer for QBP that this photo is a true representation of his personality.

Here is a more recent photo of him...

If you knew Andy you knew that he was a great technical resource, a great mechanic, a bike freak and an all-around great guy.

Every year he would stop by the Surly booth to B.S. about stuff and have a shot of bourbon with me.  Unfortunately, because of our busy schedules we did not meet to say hello this year, and now I am deeply bummed about it

Our best regards goes out to his family, friends and all who knew and loved him.

Andy, you will be missed.
