Bikes. Parts. Chaos.

Oh looky what we finally have in stock:

Downward, left side view of a Surly Bill or Ted bike trailer, on a tiled floor

Fender and wheel guard kits for your new Surly Bill or Ted trailer!  The fenders are made locally from 100% recycled plastic, and ready-fit to the metal arch wheel guards that come with Bill and Ted trailers.  If you would care to order yourself a set, get thee to your local bicycle dealer and declare that they please order you BT0005.  These kits do not come with bolts to install them --those came with your wheel arches, but if you have lost them go get yourself some M5x1mm bolts, preferrably stainless steel (actually they're M5 x .8mm.  thanks to Yafro for the catch and correction -ed.).  Then buy the folks at the shop a 6 pack and yell "I'm Rick James, Bitch!" when you leave.  That way they'll remember you fondly and order up your trailer fender kit fast.

I also thought I'd take this time to remind you that we have stocking caps in stock, such as this handsome and well adjusted gentleman is wearing:

Headshot shot of a person with a grumpy face and wearing a stocking cap, in an office setting

Note the Thinsulate-ness of it.  The blackness.  The orange patch of a deer wearing a gas mask and otherwise no company-identifying logo.  Classy.  I know what you're thinking: "Stocking caps?! You're crazy.  It's MAY for pete's sake."   True, but if you lived here you wouldn't find it so odd.  It's been hovering around freezing, and windy.  Why, up in northern Minnesota and North Dakota they got upwards of 8" of snow this weekend.  Besides, stocking caps aren't just for cold weather anymore.  Perhaps you're interested in becoming a cholo.  This hat is a great starting place.   .

Do you know this guy Cass Gilbert?  Maybe you've heard of him.  He rides his bike places and writes stories and takes pictures of his adventures, and gets paid (more or less) to do that.  Cass has been riding a Troll on his latest journey.  In his latest report he tests the mud clearance of the frame using a lot of mud and donkey shit.  Find the story here.

I spoke briefly with our man Sov, who along with Jim has spent the weekend exploring the greater Fruita, Colorado, area, which I gathered from our conversation meant they have been watching TV in the hotel room and drinking lots of beer at one of the two o three bars in town.  Hopefull they will return and write up their story for your consideration.  Until then, then.
