Most definitely. Mixed-surface touring was what we had in mind when designing Bridge Club, and its range of possible wheel and tire sizes (up to 700c x 47mm, 27.5 x 2.8″, or 26 x 3 ″) lets you choose what feels right for the type of terrain you ride.

Both are capable off-road touring steeds, but Bridge Club has a bit better paved road manners, as it’s meant for long-distance all-road touring.  Ogre on the other hand is a heavier-duty exploration machine that features Rohloff-compatible dropouts and single-speedability. It also has larger tire clearance for off-road wanderings.

Bridge Club’s wheel and tire flexibility gives you the power to Make It Your Own. Choose up to 700c x 47mm, 27.5 x 2.8″, or 26 x 3 ″ wheels and tires based on the mission at hand. Riding a chunky or sandy route? Go wide. Want to fast-forward through the paved parts of your route? Choose a narrower tire on 700c wheels.

Bridge Club’s stability, relative simplicity, and mixed-surface nature make it a good match for first-time tourers. You won’t pay for features you don’t need, and you can progress from paved local overnighters to long-distance off-road touring without needing an upgrade along the away.
