FAQ

Why is Wednesday called an all-around fat bike?

Wednesday doesn’t have the biggest tires in our fat bike lineup. Nor is it the most responsive. But how many people need the most extreme version of anything? Wednesday is a well-balanced blend of touring ability and trail enjoyment for those of you who want one fat bike for many types of riding.

How can Wednesday be both trail bike and touring bike?

Wednesday pulls elements from our mountain bikes (like modern MTB standards like dropper post routing, a 44mm head tube, suspension correction, and thru-axles). It also pulls features from our touring lineup (like a comfy riding position and an absolute ton of mounting points for racks and other accessories). The resulting stew is a bike that does at least two things well.

Wednesday vs Ice Cream Truck: which is better for everyday fat biking?

You can’t really go wrong, but we give Wednesday the edge here — it’s nicely balanced between trail riding and bikepacking for all-around versatile fat biking, while Ice Cream Truck leans a bit further into trail riding and extreme conditions.

Is Wednesday a good winter bike?

Yes, Wednesday is a mighty-fine winter bike thanks to its 26 x 3.8" tires and the traction and flotation they provide on soft snow.

Can Wednesday be used for bikepacking?

Yep, we love bikepacking on Wednesday. It has enough mounts to hold all our crap; the steel frame stands up to bushwacking and other trail abuse; and the 26 x 3.8" are enough to float you through soft terrain but not so unwieldy that they’ll slow you way down.
