    A1 Cyclery and Surly Bikes are teaming up to bring you an evening of 'Getting Loaded with your stuff. Come check out some of Surly's Bikepacking rigs all done up with the appropriate accouterments. We'll be conducting an intro clinic to the fine art of hauling your stuff around the town/county/country/world. Also, we'll be throwin down on some grubs and bevies as well. Come hang out, look for the new Surly van, and stay for the clinic. Everyone is welcome. (Except for jerks, jerks can go stand waist deep in a snowbank)

  • Pisgah Mountain Bike Festival

    Intergalactic Surly Bikes will be making an appearance at this year's Pisgah Mountain Bike Festival. Look for the black van, and the black tents. We'll be featuring our Krampus, 27.5+ Karate Monkey, as well as some Oge, Troll, and ECR. Must have ID and helmet to demo.

  • Bicycle Times Adventure Fest

    Join this celebration of cycling and choose your own cycling adventure: road, gravel or singletrack. We'll take care of the planning, route marking and aid stations. You just ride.

    • Supported road, gravel and mixed-surface rides with well-stocked aid stations and sag support.
    • Mapped mountain bike routes leave from the main event for self-guided singletrack riding on the purpose-built trails of the George Washington National Forest. Or join a group ride (included women's-only) rides hosted by Massanutten Mountain Biking, TakeAim Cycling and Dirt Rag Magazine.
    • Multiple on-site camping options at Stokesville Campground—including RV sites. Potable water, restrooms and showers provided.
    • Vendor expo with demo bikes and the latest gear. Demo bikes will include Salsa Cycles, Surly Bikes, Trek Bicycle, Fuji Bikes and Bianchi. Other vendors include DT Swiss, Nittany Mountain Works, Lauf, BikeFlights.com, Stans NoTubes, Rockgeist - Bikepacking Gear, Philly Bike Expo and more.

    So, if you attended the Urban Asault ride last October, you'll remember there was carnage, there was blood, there were fireworks. Come again to this years' installment of Surly Bikes/Loose Nuts Cycles Urban Ass-Ault ride, Atlanta style. The gang down at Loose Nuts were nuts enough to let us come back and preach our 4130 gospel. We'll park the party wagon out front, and have some of our trail and bike packing bikes available to rip around the area, and afterward, we will be throwing down on a shop appreciation party that all are welcome too attend. Hey, these people do a great job eh?
